Art Traynor

Art Traynor has extensive experience in the lighting industry, with a focus on sales management and account management. Art has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 1999 at Janmar Lighting as a Southwest Regional & National Accounts Manager. In this role, they targeted major retail, restaurant, hospitality, and commercial property management accounts, and also directed major proposal/project pull-through. Art then joined Schneider Electric in 2005 as a National Account Manager, assisting clientele in the Retail, Restaurant, and Hospitality market segments. At Simkar Lighting, where they worked from 2009 to 2011, Art served as a Regional Sales Manager, focusing on new technology, energy-efficiency upgrades, and utility-incentivized products. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Panasonic Electric Works Corp. of America as a Regional Sales Manager, providing consultative sales expertise to OEM luminaire manufacturers. Currently, Art is working at Luminit as a Global Account Manager, serving OEM clientele in Western North America, the Middle East, UK/Ireland, and Europe.

Art Traynor attended Santa Monica College from 1982 to 1984, where they focused on the field of study in mathematics. Art later pursued a degree in Business Economics at the University of San Diego between 1984 and 1987.
