Joseph Gilbride is the current CFO at Luminit. Joseph has over thirteen years of experience in corporate finance and accounting. Prior to joining Luminit, Joseph was the Director of Finance/Controller at Columbia Utilities LLC, a multi-state energy company. Joseph was responsible for developing controls and measures for cutting costs and maximizing operational efficiencies. Joseph also instituted the company’s forecasting processes and accounts payable system.
Before their work at Columbia Utilities LLC, Joseph Gilbride worked as the Vice President Corporate Controller / Financial Director at Protegrity, a $50M global software firm that designs applications for managing massive amount of data. At Protegrity, Joseph led all aspects of accounting and finance for 5 global subsidiaries (UK, Sweden, Israel, Germany, and China), which included aggressive management of cash, forecasting, and commissions/tax planning and management. Joseph also monitored outsourced payroll, negotiated licensing agreements and contracts, and prepared financial reports and analyses for executive team and board of directors. While at Protegrity, Joseph helped turn the company cash positive through implementation of substantial cost-cutting measures. Joseph also collaborated with the CEO on the sale of the Israeli subsidiary and helped prepare the company for a possible IPO.
