Ahmad Sheikh possesses extensive experience in hardware modeling and verification, currently working at Luminous Computing since July 2021, where responsibilities include C++ cycle-accurate reference modeling and instruction set simulator development for machine learning VLIW accelerators, as well as SystemC modeling for RISC-V CPUs. Prior to this, Ahmad served as a Modeling and Verification Engineer at Apple from January 2019 to June 2021, focusing on C++ reference models of ASIC IP and firmware development. Ahmad's career commenced at Qualcomm, spanning over a decade from July 2007 to January 2019, where the focus was on WLAN PHY systems, including fixed-point bit-true reference models and digital design. Ahmad holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
