Tomas Ostasevicius

Tomas Ostasevicius has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and deep learning. In 2018, they began working as a Technical Lead and Deep Learning Engineer at Luminovo. That same year, they also began working as a Software Engineer at Amadeus IT Group, where they were responsible for ensuring software quality of multiple team projects following Agile, and following OOP, SOLID principles and TDD. From 2013 to 2018, Tomas worked as a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where they developed the SAMFire (Smart Adaptive Multi-dimensional Fitting) algorithm, which allowed for significantly faster, more robust and accurate non-linear optimization.

Tomas Ostasevicius received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a BA and MSci in Natural Sciences (Physical) from the University of Cambridge in 2013.
