Key technologies include the Image Data Handling Unit (IDHU) for real-time data compression and transmission, the On-Board Computer (OBC) for satellite control, and the Delay-Tolerant Network Payload (DTNPL)—a space internet communication device enabling deep-space data relay. Based on its strong heritage from national space programs, Lumir has localized technologies that were once entirely reliant on imports, achieving both performance gains and cost efficiency. Its flagship SAR satellite, LumirX, supports ultra-high-resolution imaging (up to 0.3 m) and will form a constellation of over 18 satellites by 2030 for near real-time global observation.
