Hamsa Balakrishnan

Hamsa Balakrishnan is a prominent academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in aeronautics and engineering. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 2007, Hamsa Balakrishnan holds multiple roles including Head of House at the Graduate Tower, Associate Dean of Engineering, Professor, Associate Department Head of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Director of Transportation@MIT. Additionally, Hamsa Balakrishnan is a co-founder and Chief Scientist at Lumo and co-founder of Resilient Ops, Inc. Hamsa Balakrishnan earned a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
