It's a one-person business by design: when you engage Lumomatics, John does the work — no account manager, nothing handed off once the invoice clears.

ABN, founding year, and background are published and checkable, not claimed — trust is earned with facts you can look up yourself, not testimonials invented early.

It's excellent at drafting, summarising, classifying, and extracting — it's not a replacement for thinking about your business.

Small businesses need systems one person can understand, maintain, and explain to a new hire in ten minutes — not enterprise software they'll never fully use.

Mapping the workflow first, then choosing tools, fixes more than buying another app ever does.

The best automation replaces something repetitive and unglamorous, not something flashy — if it saves an hour a week, every week, it's earned its place.

Lumomatics is a workflow consulting and AI implementation business for Australian small businesses.

Founded and run by John Costabile — 25 years in IT operations, including hospital systems support for GE HealthCare and a major Melbourne teaching hospital — Lumomatics finds where admin, follow-up, and missed calls are quietly leaking time and money, then builds and manages practical, plain-English fixes: process cleanup, automation, and AI voice agents for phone answering.

The company works on-site and in person across the Mornington Peninsula and south-east Melbourne, and remotely with clients across the rest of Australia, serving trades, clinics, and professional service businesses.
