Nancy Harm

Director of Business Development at Luna Imaging, Inc.

Nancy Harm has extensive experience in the fields of software and imaging services, with a focus on providing digital asset management solutions to university, library, archive, and museum communities. Nancy started their career at Luna Imaging, Inc. in 1999, where they worked as an Account Manager until 2005, providing high-quality visual collections in digital form and managing image collections over the internet. Nancy then joined the Schenectady Museum as the Director of Collections in 1998 before moving to the Whitney Museum of American Art as an Exhibitions Registrar in 1993. At the Whitney Museum, Nancy managed various exhibitions, handling budgeting, loan negotiations, secure handling and transport of artwork, insurance coverage, and condition documentation. Nancy then transitioned to the H. F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University in 1986, where they served as a Registrar and successfully led the automation of the museum's collection records. Nancy also managed collections inventory and storage upgrades during their time at the H. F. Johnson Museum. In 2013, Nancy took on the role of Product Manager at Open School EduTech, LLC, overseeing the development of OpenSchool ePortfolio software for the K-12 educational technology market. Nancy worked closely with a remote engineering team in Jaipur, India, and managed approximately 10 release stages for both web and tablet apps. Nancy later joined Nureva Inc. in 2014 as a Consulting Technical Support Analyst, facilitating the transition of software and collaborating with the Director of Customer Experience to update support documentation and explore outreach options to increase product adoption. Nancy then returned to Luna Imaging, Inc. in 2006 as the Director of Business Development, where they advised prospects on the benefits of digital asset management solutions and emphasized discovery and access. In 2012, they became a Consultant for the company, utilizing their expertise to anticipate development strategy trends. Outside of their work in software and imaging services, Nancy also worked as a Ski Instructor at Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl, Inc. starting in 2017.

Nancy Harm attended the University at Albany, SUNY in 1999 for a short duration to pursue the MLIS program but did not obtain a degree. Nancy completed their undergraduate studies from 1975 to 1979 at SUNY New Paltz, where they earned a BA in Art History.
