Robert Ward has held various positions in the engineering industry since 2018. In 2018, they began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at L. Garde, Inc. where they analyzed moving components to confirm they met industry standards and presented the results to the Head Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Brigade Energy Services as a Performance Engineering Intern, working directly for the Vice-President of Technology and Strategy and spearheading a data acquisition and isolation project. Currently, Robert serves as Lunar Outpost's Canary Production Manager, where they facilitate all aspects of manufacturing and operations for the commercial air quality monitor (Canary). Robert also utilizes their core competency as a mechanical engineer to enable rapid redesign of mechanical issues within the Canary umbrella and to provide technical insight into challenges presented in everyday operations.
Robert Ward completed a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Colorado School of Mines in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same school in 2020.
