Julio is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Vermont and Director of the Attorney General’s Civil Rights Unit, which enforces Vermont’s laws regarding employment discrimination, fair employment practices, and hate crimes. Julio has also worked on police reform and is an expert for the U.S. Department of Justice on suicide. He teaches about hate crimes at the Vermont Police Academy.

Lund's services include the only residential treatment program in Vermont where women can receive treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues and keep their children with them, an education program for pregnant and parenting young women, early childhood education program, Vermont's oldest and largest private adoption agency, reach up case management, job skills training, parenting and family education, outpatient clinical and counseling services, Kids-A-Part a program that keeps mothers and their children connected during the mother's incarceration, transitional living services and other program that help Vermont's women and children to thrive.
