Lars Bang

Lars Bang has been with Lundbeck since 1988, starting as Head of Department for R&D Planning & Economy. Lars has since held various positions within the company, including Corporate Secretary, Managing Director of Lundbeck España S.A., Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Europe & Overseas, and Group Senior Vice President of Supply Operations & Engineering. In 2016, they were promoted to Executive Vice President.

Lars Bang graduated from the Technical University of Denmark with a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, and then went on to get their B.com. in Marketing from Copenhagen Business School. Lars later completed the Danish Pharmaceutical Academy Programme to earn their Lægemiddelkonsulenteksamen from the Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (LIF).

They work with Elise Hauge - EVP, People & Communication, Johan Luthman - EVP, R&D, and Keld Flintholm Jørgensen - EVP, Corporate Strategy & Business Development. Some direct reports include Kyle Smith - Senior Director, Supply Chain, Ron Mihalcean - Director, Global Supply Chain. Their manager is Deborah Dunsire, President & CEO.
