Bas Dirkson

Bas Dirkson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare and digital innovation. Currently serving as an Adviseur Digitalisering en Innovatie at Lunet, Bas has previously held significant leadership roles including Business Development Manager at Plasmacure, where the focus was on innovative treatments for chronic wounds, and CEO at Wind Tales, which developed a serious game for breathing exercises aimed at children with chronic lung issues. As the founder and CEO of Femedx and co-founder of Apps4Air, Bas pioneered eHealth solutions for preeclampsia detection and chronic lung disease management, respectively. Bas also led River Diagnostics in developing innovative medical products based on Raman spectroscopy. Prior to these roles, significant leadership experience was gained at Dräger and Siemens Elema AB, focusing on global R&D management, P&L responsibilities, and sales growth in the medical devices sector. Bas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the Institute of Technology Rotterdam and has furthered education at Babson College.
