Kyle Wang

Kyle Wang is an accomplished imaging scientist with extensive experience in mammographic imaging, breast tissue composition quantification, and deep learning-based imaging solutions. Currently serving as the Principal Imaging Scientist at Lunit Cancer Screening since November 2025, Kyle previously held a similar title at Volpara Health from September 2014 to November 2025, where notable contributions included patent applications and the development of advanced imaging technologies. Earlier roles include software development at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, tutoring positions at The University of Waikato, a visiting research scholar role at Gunma University, and data analysis at DairyNZ. Kyle holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Computational Science from The University of Waikato and a Master of Physics from Zhejiang Normal University, supplemented by a Certificate of Proficiency in Applied Statistics and Data Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
