Apollo Sande is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in market expansion and technology solutions. Currently serving as the Country Manager for Luno in Kenya since March 2019, Apollo is responsible for leading the company's market strategy, regulatory engagement, and innovative crypto solutions tailored for the Kenyan market. Prior to this role, Apollo acted as the Country Launch Specialist for Luno, successfully launching subsidiaries in multiple African countries through market research and local partnerships. Apollo's experience also includes a position as Training and Community Development Manager at Gearbox Kenya Limited and Kivuli Fab Lab, where over 200 individuals were empowered through comprehensive training programs. Earlier roles involved serving as a Senior Engineer at the Swiss Kenyan Business Centre, delivering telemetry solutions in the energy sector, and a foundational career in software development over a decade. Apollo holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a certificate in Solar PV Systems from the University of Nairobi.
