Ed Harrod is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Luno since August 2022, Ed leads backend initiatives focusing on Go standards and best practices, as well as continuous integration and deployment. Previous experience includes roles as Technical Co-Founder at Givr and Technical Team Lead at Yoti, where Ed managed cross-functional teams and delivered significant product features, particularly in the eSignatures space. With a foundation in software development at EMIS Health, Dataphiles Ltd, and early roles in event management and promotions, Ed combines technical expertise with effective team leadership skills. Ed holds a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh.
