Stephan Broek

Stephan Broek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering operations and management. Currently serving as the Lead Engineering Operations Manager at Luno since April 2022, Stephan previously held the position of Operations Manager for the Customer tribe at Sky Betting & Gaming from March 2016 to March 2022, where responsibilities included ensuring platform stability and reliability, team management, and incident command training. Prior roles also encompass Senior DevOps Engineer and Automation Engineer positions, alongside co-founding Matchchat in which Stephan managed backend development and server operations. Additionally, Stephan has volunteered as a lifeguard at IJmuiden Coast Lifeguard from July 2005 to January 2016 and engaged in prospective student relations at TU Delft. Academic credentials include a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Sheffield and coursework in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology.
