Vivek D. is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading and developing innovative software solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Lupa since April 2024, Vivek previously held the position of Team Lead at Google from August 2018 to April 2024, where multiple features were launched through cross-functional collaboration with teams in the UK and USA. Prior to Google, Vivek worked at Amazon in the Dynamo DB team as a Software Development Engineer, and at Cliqz GmbH as a Software Engineer, focusing on backend development. Early career experiences include an Engineering Internship at Intel Mobile Communications GmbH, writing RTL, and a Software Developer role at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where real-time embedded systems were created. Vivek holds a Master of Science degree in Embedded Systems from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
