Christopher Oster is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering, systems architecture, and data science. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Lutron Electronics since October 2018, Christopher oversees a large team of over 300 professionals, managing daily operations and directing software development strategies. Prior to Lutron, Christopher worked at Lockheed Martin for 14 years, advancing from Senior Software Engineer to Principal Software Systems Architect, where responsibilities included setting technical visions for advanced projects and leading innovative initiatives in machine learning and systems engineering. Christopher obtained a Master of Philosophy in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and holds both a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University.
