Joseph Schmidt

Joseph Schmidt, CPA, currently serves as the Lead Auditor in Internal Audit and Lead Project Accountant at Lutron Electronics, where responsibilities include assisting with global inventory valuation as part of the cost accounting team. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Project Accountant, managing fixed asset accounting for a global manufacturing organization, and leading tax engagements as a Senior Associate at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. Joseph began a career in tax compliance at PwC, where roles included Private Company Services Tax Associate and Tax Intern. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Accounting, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Penn State University, along with an ongoing MBA program at Lehigh University.
