Taylor Balch

Taylor Balch is a Senior Design and Development Software Engineer at Lutron Electronics, where tenure began in June 2013. In the current role, Taylor serves as the technical lead for Quantum, focusing on commercial lighting control and energy management, and is the primary architect for Enterprise Vue, a comprehensive web application for managing data across various lighting control systems. Previous positions at Lutron included leading design efforts for myRoom Vue, Lutron’s hospitality solution, and the Q-Gateway server, as well as contributing to the development of Quantum Vue. Earlier experience includes intern roles at Lutron, where Taylor developed features for the HomeWorks Illumination system and Q-Admin software. Taylor holds a degree from Penn State University, attained from 2009 to 2013.
