Tom Mollnow

Tom Mollnow is an experienced professional in the design and lighting industries, currently serving as Curator of Experiences at Lutron Electronics since January 2021. As the Founder and Design Director at Cognition Product Development since January 2010, Tom has cultivated a strong entrepreneurial spirit in design innovation. Previous roles include Creative Director and Director of Design at Ketra from November 2012 to January 2021, and Senior Industrial Designer at Philips Color Kinetics from June 2004 to January 2010, where Tom focused on the design and development of LED lighting systems following the company's acquisition by Royal Philips Electronics. Earlier experience includes a Staff Designer position at Think Design, LLC, specializing in medical equipment and exhibit design. Tom Mollnow holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned between 1996 and 2000.
