Max Tomes

Max Tomes, CPA, currently serves as a Tax Staff Accountant at Lutz since January 2024, having previously held roles as a Tax Intern at the same company earlier in 2023. Prior experience includes an Audit Intern position at FORVIS in mid-2023, additional Tax Intern roles at Lutz and Praxis CPA, LLC in 2023 and 2022 respectively, and an Accounting Intern position at I See It Ventures from July 2021 to January 2023. Max also contributed as an Associate and Analyst at UNO Maverick Venture Fund from early 2021 to mid-2022, and gained finance experience as an Intern at Union Pacific Railroad from late 2020 to September 2021. Practical experience began at Tomes Industries from 2016 to 2020, where Max held roles as an Inventory Manager and Machine Operator, alongside work as a Laborer at Bart's Detasseling in 2014-2015. Academically, Max is completing a Master of Accounting (MAcc) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting from the same institution. High school education was completed at Centennial Public School, culminating in a diploma in 2019.
