Wouter Oonk

Wouter Oonk is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a Line Training Captain, Type Rating Instructor, and Type Rating Examiner for the DHC8 at Luxair since July 2022. Prior to this role, Wouter gained valuable experience as a Pilot with Special Air Services B.V. and as a First Officer for Denim Air ACMI B.V., where a total of 850 flight hours on the DHC8-Q300 were accumulated. Wouter's career also includes a position as Supervisor Anti- & De-icing at KLM and serving as a First Officer for LuxairGroup on EMB 134/145 aircraft, amassing 4000 flight hours. Additionally, Wouter has held roles as a Flight Safety Instructor and Captain on the DHC8 and First Officer on the B737NG. Wouter completed an ATPL (A) at KLM Flight Academy and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Logistics and Transport Studies from NHTV internationaal hoger onderwijs Breda.
