Marcel Peeren

Marcel Peeren is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in leading engineering teams and developing innovative solutions across multiple industries. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Meta, Marcel specializes in 3D printed lenses since May 2022. Prior to this, Marcel held the position of Mechanical Architect at TSG Group, overseeing the development of a large-scale coating factory. At Philips Healthcare, Marcel managed a team focused on cost reduction and reliability for MRI systems. Notable previous roles also include Lead Engineer positions at Mecal and OTB Solar, where Marcel led various mechanical development projects and teams. Marcel holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven and has accumulated extensive expertise across numerous technical disciplines throughout a career spanning several decades.
