Farouk Mansouri is an experienced HPC/HPDA senior engineer currently working at LuxProvide, where responsibilities include porting, developing, and supporting high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and cloud projects on the MeluXina supercomputing platform. Previously, Farouk held consulting roles in HPC at the Technology Innovation Institute and served as Technical Lead for HPC&Build at ESI Group, overseeing the stability and efficiency of software production for HPC products. Farouk has a strong background in parallel storage systems from a software engineering role at DDN Storage, and has undertaken academic research in MPI standard extension and data locality during postdoctoral positions at Inria. Farouk’s earlier experiences include developing task-based parallel programming models during a PhD at Gipsa-Lab, and systems administration across various operating systems and open-source solutions at El Djazair Information Technology and Ceren-algerie. Farouk holds a PhD in computer science with a focus on signal and image processing, a master's degree in modeling software, and an engineering degree in computer science.
