Mackenzie Power

Mackenzie Power has a diverse work experience history. In 2006, they started their career at McDonald's Corporation as a Crew Trainer and worked there until 2008. In 2013, Mackenzie worked as a Picker at Peavey Industries and simultaneously started working as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Saskatchewan Crop Development Center. At the Crop Development Center, their responsibilities included various duties in the Bread Wheat Department.

In 2017, Mackenzie became the CEO, Owner, and Co-founder of Lonely Dance Party Inc. This company focused on software consulting projects and developing their own products. Mackenzie held this role until 2018.

Also in 2018, Mackenzie worked as a Software Development Analyst at Avanade for a brief period of four months. Following this, they joined Luxsonic Technologies Inc. as a Software Developer, where they worked on creating user-friendly interfaces for educational applications in medicine using Virtual Reality. Their work involved coding applications using Unity Game Engine and C#, designing layouts, developing VR interactions, and creating networked and multiplayer VR applications. Mackenzie Power completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Biotechnology from the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Mackenzie also attended Red Deer Polytechnic from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, they obtained a Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C certification from the Canadian Red Cross in March 2015.
