Gianluca Facchini

Gianluca Facchini, Ph.D., is a Space Structures Engineer with extensive experience in structural dynamics and stress analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical and Thermal Satellite Architect at LuxSpace, they have previously held positions as a Senior Stress Analysis Engineer at Redwire Space Europe and as a Stress Analysis Engineer at Redwire Space. Gianluca earned a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Space Technologies from Sapienza Università di Roma, where they also completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Space and Aerospace Engineering. Throughout their career, they have developed expertise in FEM analyses, thermal assessments, and mentoring junior engineers.
