Jeff McDonald

CTO, CBO, Co-founder at LuxTag

Jeff McDonald has a wealth of work experience spanning from 2002 to the present. From 2002-2005, they served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho, where they designed and implemented a sustainable computer program at a vocational school and taught English classes. From 2005-2006, they were a Teacher at Duke Academy, facilitating English lessons for elementary to middle school children and occasionally teaching private lessons to high school students or adults. From 2006-2008, they were a Visiting Instructor at Keimyung University, teaching English conversation classes. From 2008-2012, they were an Assistant Professor at Keimyung University, teaching English conversation classes and overseeing making of schedules, organizing workshops, and dealing with miscellaneous admin situations. From 2017-present, they have been a Co-founder, Vice President, Council Member, and Board Member of the NEM.io Foundation, helping to grow NEM from under a $1,000,000 dollar market cap to over $15,000,000,000. Jeff has also been the CTO, CBO, and Co-founder of LuxTag since 2017, overseeing the backend development of the LuxTag application, marketing and promoting LuxTag, developing and applying for patents related to Blockchain certificates, coordinating with the CEO and CFO on all major decisions, and participating in sales calls and support for customers.

Jeff McDonald received their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2001. Jeff then went on to The University of Kansas, where they earned their Master of Arts in Religious Studies (Ethics) and Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict in 2006.
