Stephen Atherton

Stephen Atherton is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience across various leadership roles in the architecture and design industry. Currently serving as Consultant Director at LXA since July 2025, Stephen previously held the position of Design Director at Sobha Realty from July 2013 to October 2025. Stephen's career includes significant roles such as Design Director for the Line Design Group at NEOM in early 2024, Managing Director at PNC Architects from July 2013 to June 2018, and Design Director at Atherton & Associates from January 2009 to July 2013, where strategic business development and client relationship management were central functions. Earlier positions include Design Director at Fraser Eagle Contracts and TFL International LTD, as well as Associate at Scott Brownrigg. Stephen holds a Bachelor's Degree in 3D Interior Design from Leeds Beckett University, earned between 1984 and 1987.
