Principal Quality Specialist / ODA Administrator at Lycoming Engines

John Dabback has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John began their career at Textron Lycoming in 1987, where they worked as a Product Engineer in LT101 Assembly & Test. John later transitioned to the role of Product Engineer in LT101 Overhaul & Repair. After four years, they joined AlliedSignal Aerospace as an Overhaul Engineer for LT101.

In 1996, John joined Honeywell Aerospace as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. John then took on the role of Six Sigma Black Belt / Continuous Improvement Specialist, followed by Sr. Project Engineer in Repair Development.

In 2005, John moved on to Lycoming Engines as a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer. John then progressed to become the Manager of Supplier Quality and FAA ODA Administrator. Later, they became the Manager of Quality Management and ODA Administrator. Currently, John holds the position of Principal Quality Specialist and ODA Administrator at Lycoming Engines.

John Dabback earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University from 1982 to 1986.
