Having begun their career at Fluor, where they achieved 'best academic 1st year honours' in mechanical engineering, Asher has since held various key positions, including Principal Mechanical Designer at Lycopodium, focusing on advancing technical delivery capabilities and establishing a drawing office in Toronto. They have a diverse background in mechanical design, project management, and mentoring, having worked on high-profile projects globally, including with Newcrest Mining and Kinross Gold Corporation. Asher is known for their ability to innovate and lead multi-disciplinary teams while maintaining a hands-on approach to project delivery.
