Garry Luk

Garry Luk is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in the design and management of various infrastructure projects, particularly in the coal preparation and handling sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Structural Engineer at Lycopodium since May 2021, Garry previously held the position of Senior Structural Engineer at Royal Wolf Trading, where responsibilities included bespoke container modifications and team management. Prior roles involved structural engineering at Farr Engineers, Hatch, Process Consult, and Sinclair Knight Merz, focusing on finite element analysis, structural designs of buildings, and coal handling facilities in Australia and internationally. Garry initiated a career in engineering as a Cadet Structural Drafter at GHD while pursuing education in Civil Engineering, culminating in a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil from Queensland University of Technology, along with an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering from TAFE Queensland.
