Alex Li

Alex Li is a Machine Learning Engineer at Lyft since January 2022, specializing in machine learning and software development for areas such as rider app recommendations, driver earnings optimization, and incentive allocation. Previously, Alex worked as a Researcher at The City College of New York's Visual Computing Research Laboratory from September 2019 to January 2022, developing a weakly-supervised deep learning model for scene point cloud segmentation and performing exploratory data analysis. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at the University of Groningen, where Alex labeled extensive data from a digital archive of Chinese historical texts. Alex holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering from The City University of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Groningen.
