Alison Marlin is an experienced UX Researcher at Lyft since November 2017, with a solid background in academic and applied research. Prior to this role, Alison served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Davis from December 2016 to November 2017, where responsibilities included mentoring junior colleagues and publishing research findings. As a Research Assistant at Ruhr University Bochum from October 2015 to October 2016, Alison contributed to a significant grant application for a large-scale project on international student assessment. An internship at Microsoft Research Cambridge in 2013 involved designing a study on video communication, and earlier teaching experience at the University of Melbourne encompassed instructing students in the History and Philosophy of Science.
