Ben S.

Ben S. is currently the Head of Detection & Response in Corporate Security at Lyft, where they lead product security teams and implement proactive security measures. With over 8 years of experience in security and software engineering, they co-founded Blackbox AI and held significant roles at organizations including UBS Investment Bank and Security Innovation. Ben is also the founder of The Black Engineers Network, promoting community and advancement for Black engineers. They earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Connecticut. As a former athlete, Ben was part of the 2011 National Champion Men's Basketball team at the University of Connecticut.
