Dean Liu

Dean Liu is a highly experienced software engineer with a focus on security, currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer in Security Foundations at Lyft since May 2018. Prior to this role, Dean held the position of Staff Security Engineer in Security Operations at Pandora from August 2015 to April 2018, and was a Senior Software Engineer at Guidebook Inc. from November 2011 to March 2015. Earlier in the career, Dean worked as a Software Developer in Security at Novacoast from June 2006 to October 2011, and began as a PC Technician at the University of California, Santa Barbara from March 2006 to May 2007. Dean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
