Gene Kim

Gene Kim is the Director of Legal at Lyft, where they focus on product and commercial matters. They previously served as Counsel for Litigation & Risk and as Senior Counsel in both Litigation & Risk and Product & Commercial at Lyft from 2018 to 2020. Prior to joining Lyft, Gene worked as an Associate Attorney at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP from 2014 to 2018, and held positions including Associate at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, Law Clerk at the United States Attorney's Office, and Extern for the Honorable Lucy Koh at the U.S. District Court. Gene earned a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2011, following a B.A. in Political Science - International Studies from the University of California, San Diego in 2007.
