Kat Murray is an accomplished design and UX research leader with a notable tenure at Lyft, beginning as a UX researcher and advancing to Head of Design & UX Research for Lyft Business & Media. With a wealth of experience, Kat has successfully led various teams, including taking on the role of Head of Research after a trial period in 2021. Previous roles at Lyft include Research Director for Rideshare and Sr UXR Manager for Platform & UXR Operations, where significant contributions were made to enhance team capacity and organizational growth. In addition to Lyft, Kat has held leadership positions in organizations such as Wanderlust Holdings and the University of Texas system and has an extensive academic background with a PhD from Stanford University. Kat is also recognized as a Presidential Leadership Scholar from the Class of 2019.
