Ron Kinel, ACAS, currently serves as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Lyft, having started this role in September 2023. Previously, Ron worked at Marsh from January 2021 to September 2023 as an Assistant Vice President, focusing on Actuarial work related to Risk Finance Optimization Reports and leading User Acceptance Testing for Blue[i] RFO. Prior to Marsh, Ron held the position of Risk Economics Analyst and Head Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara from September 2019 to December 2020, where responsibilities included course administration, development of teaching materials, and integration of online tools for remote learning. Ron also gained experience as an Intern Analyst at CPG Data, LLC, managing a large database, and as a Technology Management Intern at CII Tech, Inc., assisting with employee relocations and technology implementation for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Ron holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from UC Santa Barbara.
