Jay Kantaria

Jay Kantaria is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud operations, DevOps, and configuration management. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Operations & Engineering at Rhapsody since April 2022, Jay drives global operations across multiple international sites while managing AWS cloud strategy, budgeting, and cost optimization. Prior to this role, Jay led DevOps architecture consulting at Raytheon with GeoLogics Corporation and managed DevOps teams at Verizon and Tektronix Communications, supporting large-scale engineering initiatives and overseeing significant budgets. Jay's career began at XO Communication, where multiple roles, including Manager of Configuration Management, established a strong foundation in configuration engineering and automation. Jay holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science from California State University - East Bay.
