Bin Liu

Bin Liu is a highly experienced professional in the field of physical oceanography, currently serving as Coupled Modeling Branch Lead and Hurricane Modeling Task Lead at Lynker since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Hurricane Task Lead and Support Scientist at I. M. Systems Group Inc. from January 2015 to August 2022. Additionally, Bin Liu held academic positions at North Carolina State University from October 2007 to June 2019, including Adjunct Assistant Professor, Research Assistant Professor, and Post-doctoral Research Associate. Bin Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Oceanography from Ocean University of China, completing the degree in 2007.
