Jason Ducker

Jason Ducker is a highly accomplished meteorologist and project lead developer currently at Lynker since March 2021, focusing on the NextGen modeling framework at the Office of Water Prediction. Prior experience includes serving as a scientific programmer for the NOAA COASTAL Act team, where collaboration with NOAA affiliates led to advancements in hydrodynamic model communication. Previous roles as a meteorologist with the Air Force Civilian Service and a postdoctoral researcher at Florida State University involved extensive technical expertise in mesoscale modeling and data assimilation, as well as significant contributions to climate model evaluation through innovative dataset creation. Jason Ducker holds a PhD in Meteorology and has amassed experience in teaching and research roles at Florida State University, contributing to the academic community as a research and teaching assistant, as well as engaging in outreach as a weathercaster and soccer referee during earlier academic years.
