Jim Coll

Jim Coll is currently a Geospatial Flood Inundation Mapping contractor for NOAA OWP at Lynker, a position held since September 2022. With substantial experience in GIS and hydroscience, Jim served as an NWC GIS Hydroscience Developer at The University of Alabama from August 2021 to November 2022 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Kansas from August 2016 to October 2021. Previous roles include leadership in the NWC Innovators Program for CUAHSI, responsibilities as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets, and a summer internship at the Missouri Basin River Forecast Center. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Plymouth State University.
