Tim McClung is currently the Director of Weather Programs at Lynker, where they support and coordinate atmospheric science-related efforts, including partnerships and budgetary reviews. From 2009 to 2015, Tim served as the Science and Programs Branch Chief at the National Weather Service, overseeing scientific initiatives and managing training and supervision within the National Science Plans Branch. Prior to that, Tim was the Portfolio Manager at the NWS Office of Science and Technology Integration, where they supervised hiring and budgetary actions. Earlier in their career, Tim held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff at NOAA, leading various operational support initiatives. Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University in 1988.
