Darrell Jones

Darrell Jones has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Darrell began their career as a Staff Accountant at Transco Exploration in 1977 and later moved on to Howell Petroleum, where they held the positions of Accounting Manager and AP/JIB Supervisor. At Howell Petroleum, they played a key role in implementing a new accounting software system.

In 1981, Darrell joined BlueSky Oil & Gas as the Division Controller. During their tenure, they set up and managed the accounting department of the company's US subsidiary, overseeing the transition of operational accounting functions from the parent company.

From 1982 to 1987, Darrell worked at Gemisys Inc / Gathers Software, starting as an Account Representative and eventually being promoted to Director of Energy Management Services. In their role, they coordinated the installation, training, and implementation of the company's software package at multiple clients and performed automated data conversions and software enhancements. As Director, they managed the staff responsible for software development, maintenance, documentation, customer support, and sales/marketing support.

In 1987, Darrell joined Paradigm Technologies as the Manager of R&D and later transitioned to the role of Manager of Customer Services. In these capacities, they oversaw software development, maintenance, documentation, quality assurance, and version release distribution. Darrell also managed client user training, implementation, help desk support, software enhancement business analysis/design, and ongoing consulting.

From 1991 to 2008, Darrell served as the Senior VP / Executive VP of P2 Energy Solutions / Paradigm Technologies. Darrell was responsible for managing all Excalibur operations, including software development, customer service, IT services, sales support, and business administration functions. During their tenure, the Excalibur business experienced significant growth. Paradigm was acquired by The Petroleum Place Inc in 2000, and the combined entity became P2 Energy Solutions Inc.

In 2010, Darrell joined Trinity Management Consulting as a Senior Consultant, where they provided expertise and guidance in various consulting engagements.

Most recently, Darrell has been associated with Lynx Global Intelligence since 2016. Darrell began as the Co-Founder and Director of Administration before assuming the role of VP Administration, Corporate Secretary & Treasurer in July 2022.

Overall, Darrell Jones has amassed extensive experience in a wide range of roles, including leadership positions, software development, customer support, project management, and financial management.

Darrell Jones attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1972 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. In 1981, they also received a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
