Hirsch Alter

Hirsch Alter is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining real-time software solutions and cloud-based services. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Lynxight since January 2021, Hirsch focuses on swimmer distress detection software, utilizing technologies such as Python, Java, and OpenCV. Prior to this, Hirsch worked at DealSumm, enhancing a lease abstraction service, and contributed to kernel driver development at Mellanox Technologies. Additional experience includes a combat engineer role in the Israel Defense Forces and various IT and software engineering positions at AT&T, University of Maryland, and other companies. Hirsch holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and has participated in a study abroad program at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
