Lyon Agro is a climate-smart agricultural company pioneering organic farming and carbon removal solutions in Ghana. Building from our foundation in organic soybean and shea nut processing, we now specialise in producing premium biochar from agricultural waste. Biochar Carbon Removal is a powerful tool for carbon sequestration and a key technology for sustainable economic development in West Africa.

West African smallholder farmers already face disproportionate impacts from the climate crisis, threatening food security and rural livelihoods. Lyon Agro is on a mission to empower farming communities with improved soil health, enhanced crop yields, and a meaningful role in achieving global Net Zero Emissions—while building prosperity from the ground up.
