Elena Kumerdank

Elena Kumerdank has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing. Elena started their career as an Auditor at Deloitte CIS, where they conducted audits of companies of various scales and assessed internal controls. Elena then moved on to Hanesbrands Inc., where they worked as a Treasury Assistant, responsible for monitoring bank fees, preparing cash forecasts, and monitoring factoring lines. Elena also worked at Soletanche Freyssinet as a Treasury Assistant and later as a Corporate Treasurer, managing foreign exchange operations on construction projects abroad and analyzing intercompany loans. Elena then joined Hanes France as an FP&A Analyst, providing financial analysis and business partnership for European, Russian, and South African markets. Most recently, Elena worked as a Finance Business Partner Benelux at DBI - Dim Brands International, where they owned the P&L of the Benelux region and provided financial insights into customer relationships and profitability. Currently, Elena holds the position of Lead Business Finance Analyst at LyondellBasell.

Elena Kumerdank completed their Master 2 (M2) Apprenticeship program in Corporate Treasury at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in the year 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Master 1 degree in Financial Controlling and Audit at Université Paris Cité in 2016. Elena also holds a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, which they completed between 2009 and 2014. In 2012, they attended the CUEF de Perpignan and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Rennes for unknown degrees. Additionally, Elena obtained a certification in Introduction to ESG: Environmental, Social, and Governance from LinkedIn in 2023.
