Jason Sander

Jason Sander is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, and intellectual property. Currently serving as Lead Counsel for Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Digital Innovation/AI at LyondellBasell since January 2013, Jason reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and has held various key positions within the company, including Lead Counsel for Intellectual Property and Licensing and Senior Counsel. Prior to LyondellBasell, Jason worked as an Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, focusing on intellectual property, M&A, and litigation, and at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP (now Foley & Lardner LLP), where the practice encompassed corporate issues and intellectual property litigation. Early in the legal career, Jason gained in-house experience in the ExxonMobil legal department. Jason holds a JD from the University of Houston Law Center and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
