John Herbert

John Herbert has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. John began their career at American Express, working as the Director of Logistics Design and later as the Director of Worldwide Distribution. In these positions, they led initiatives to automate material handling/fulfillment and managed a global supply chain. After their tenure at American Express, John moved to the University of Utah where they served as the Head of Digital Ventures and Program Director of Utah Digital Newspapers. Their responsibilities included fundraising and overseeing the statewide collaborative for digital newspapers, resulting in the hosting of 1.6 million pages of historic content. Currently, John is working at LYRASIS as the Sr. Director of Technology and Engineering, and previously held the position of Director of Digital Services.

John Herbert holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Prior to their MBA, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at The University of Kansas. No specific start or end years are provided for either degree.
